Our Mission

James Baldwin Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) supports the highly diverse community of James Baldwin Elementary by advocating for and enriching the experiences of our students, teachers, staff, and families in order to foster the academic achievement and physical, social, and emotional well-being of every student.

James Baldwin Elementary PTO is a nonprofit that is dedicated to fundraising and supporting programs to support our teachers and students.

James Baldwin PTO Monthly Meetings

James Baldwin PTO gathers once a month. All parents, grandparents, guardians, community members, teachers, staff and neighbors are welcome.

Please see the calendar for the upcoming meeting schedule and details on how to join in person. Please subscribe to the newsletter to get details. In-person meetings are held in the school library.

Help Our Cause

Your support and contributions will enable us to offer teacher grants, sponsor events and support scholarships for students, fund needed supplies for students through our Family Support Worker and so much more.

If you have a PayPal account, you may also donate through our PayPal Giving Fund, which does not charge any processing fees. The collected funds are sent to James Baldwin Elementary PTO once a month. You can also drop off cash or checks (made out to James Baldwin Elementary PTO) at school. We encourage you to verify if your donations are eligible for any employer-matching programs.

** We are tax exempt non-profit organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our EIN # is 81-2942021. All your donations are tax deductible.

There are many opportunities for volunteering throughout the school year!

If you would like to volunteer with James Baldwin Elementary PTO, please review our list of current volunteer opportunities and sign up for ones that interest you! Even if you can't make it to meetings, there are still lots of ways to get involved.
If you think you might be interested in doing in-school/direct student volunteering, you need to get your official district approved status by completing the online training (20-30 minutes) that is good for 2 years.
If you would like to volunteer behind-the-scenes, please reach out to us! We'd love to discuss your ideas.
