There are 260 students soaring through the halls of James Baldwin Elementary this year! As a community of caregivers and neighbors, we can directly support important programming like
athletics, arts, and tutoring that will have a positive impact on the lives of our Eagles.
With cuts in federal funding and local budget constraints, every dollar makes a
difference.
$14 buys a yearbook for one student
$55 helps a 5th grader go to camp
$150 buys ten school T-shirts for students
$2,400 funds a music program for 3rd graders
$5,000 supports math and reading tutor salaries
We encourage you to verify if your donations are eligible for any employer-matching programs.
Spread the word
Download a printable flyer in English and Spanish which contains all of the information above. Post it at your work or favorite coffee shop to help get the word out to the community about the October Fundraiser.
To help every student feel part of this effort, they can return the printable participation slips (in English and Spanish) for class rewards! No donation is required for student participation.

Fred Meyer Rewards
Support Friends of Northgate whenever you shop at Fred Meyer. Link your Fred Meyer Rewards Card by signing up on the Fred Meyer website, and you will be helping to earn a donation each time you shop.
Box Tops for Education
For over 20 years, Box Tops for Education has given families an easy way to earn cash for their school, with products they already buy. Help earn cash for our school by using the Box Tops app. It’s an easy way to make a difference. All you have to do is buy Box Tops participating products (like Cheerios!) and scan your grocery receipt. Box Tops are worth $0.10 each and they add up fast! Twice a year, our school receives a check to help pay for whatever we need - equipment, supplies or experiences the kids love! Learn more and get the Box Tops app on the Box Tops website.
Brown Bear Car Wash Tickets
Friends of Northgate has partnered with Brown Bear Car Wash to sell car wash tickets as part of an ongoing fundraiser. If you are interested in purchasing tickets or would like to help sell tickets, please get in touch with us using our contact form.
